Is This The Easiest Way to Cook Thai Food?

I was lucky enough to receive a few samples from Grab Thai Go recently. I was excited to try this new range of products because I don’t usually cook Thai food at home, I’m conscious of the fact that when I eat my favourite foods sometimes only the most authentic tasting offerings are the best. But what happens on the days when you just have a craving for Pad Thai or Green curry and your local restaurant is closed or too far or you simply don’t have all the ingredients to hand? Grab Thai Go have created a great alternative which might also be one of the easiest ways to cook Thai Food.

The new range features 8 sauces and noodle meal kits and is made by a team in Thailand which explains the authenticity of the kits. It helps to be able to recreate some of our favourite Thai dishes at home especially since many of us are at home during lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

My favourite aspect of these kits is the simplicity – I did not need to buy any additional ingredients (you can obviously buy some garnish like spring onions and bean sprouts to go with your dish). Very little preparation is required and full instructions are provided, just add your meat, seafood, fish or vegetables and within 15 minutes you have a good meal to enjoy with friends and family. It’s just a great way to not only save time and eat well but also create variety. The kits are cost effective too starting from around £2.99 each and £1.50 for the sauces.

Another good thing about these kits is that they are environmentally friendly. The trays and lids are reusable, plus the trays are biodegradable, made from sugar cane, so you can put them on your compost heap (if you have one). All other elements can be recycled.

Thai cuisine is known to burst with wonderful aromas, is full of delicious spices and combines salty, bitter, sweet and sour and spicy flavours, and can deliver a hot spicy punch. I love chilli so I added more but you can adapt the recipe to suit your taste buds. This is a great product worth trying!
