Irish company Mr Crumb has launched its fresh traditional stuffing range in ASDA and Sainsbury’s in time for the festive season. The ready-to-cook stuffings are a great time saver for busy cooks, as they can be put straight in the oven for 12 minutes which creates that perfect stuffing with a crispy top. The onions are sautéed in Irish butter, before being mixed with fresh breadcrumbs from a local bakery, the herbs, spices and other ingredients. Mr Crumb stuffing is suitable for Vegetarians and comes in two varieties Fresh “Apple & Apricot” and “Sage and Onion” and can be found in the fresh chicken chiller section alongside the Yorkshire Puds. The stuffing is available in 225g trays, has an RSP of £1.50 – £2.00 and will make around 8 stuffing balls. Order here: http://www.mrcrumb.ie/html/stuffings.html
If you’re looking for a unique way to cook your bird along with either of these delicious stuffings why not try cooking it on the barbecue! Not only does this free up the oven for your other accompaniments but according to Weber BBQs grilling in the cooler weather makes the meat even more succulent and flavoursome.
